Our Story
Pastor David and Nichole have a very unique story in that they were married for eleven years with three beautiful daughters before getting divorced in 2010. After a series of events that led Pastor David to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, they were reunited and remarried on the same stage Pastor David was baptized in December of 2013. Pastor David then decided to take a leap of Faith and go back to school to complete a Master’s in Ministry at Northwest University. While completing his MIM he was invited to be on staff at Calvary Community Church where he fulfilled a myriad of roles. It was also during this time David and Nichole began their own healing journey with extensive counseling and trauma therapy through a lifetime of hurt and pain. This coupled with the healing power of Jesus they have built a beautiful Christ centered marriage. “By no means is our marriage perfect, but by God’s grace we are being made new in our love toward one another which allows us to grow in our intimacy everyday.” Pastor David
Pastor David and Nichole were then sent out to start Eikon Church where Pastor David fulfilled the role of Lead Pastor for 5 1/2 years. During that time they discovered their love for counseling and helping others. This discovery led them toward making the very tough but exciting decision to step down as Lead Pastor at Eikon Church and fully commit to a lifetime of helping others on their journey toward healing and growth. “We have graciously been given so much and now it is our turn to commit full time to giving back.” Pastor Nichole
Along with their own testimony and experience they use different tools and resources to counsel and guide Individuals and couples through a process of healing. “We use God’s Word as inerrant truth mixed with a deep understanding of the brain’s mechanisms of energy and information flow and counsel you toward healing in Jesus name.” Pastor David
Our mission is to provide affordable Christ centered pastoral counseling for people looking to heal from their past hurts and experiences and grow into a thriving New Self. No matter what your financial situation, we are committed to providing the help you need within our scope of ability.
Ephesians 4:24 says we are to put on the new self, but most of us don’t feel new. The old self still exists. Our old behaviors, feelings, memories, pains and hurts are still driving unhealthy behaviors. We provide Pastoral Counseling, Care, and Guidance toward unpacking the old self and putting on your new self for living a Christ centered life In a broken world.
